Introduction to Creative Writing

Build the habits of a successful writer while experimenting with various types of creative writing. Be prepared to learn, write and share your interest in words and stories with a community of like-minded writers.

Beth Dotson Brown has written feature articles, short stories, poetry, and short plays. Her book, Yes I Am Catholic, is a collection of interviews about faith for teenagers. Beth’s work has also appeared in A Cup of Comfort for Breast Cancer Survivors and Scenes from the Common Wealth. She has taught writing for students from elementary school through adulthood and enjoys mentoring other writers.

The Creative Writing Course will take place in the St. Asaph room, next to Kentucky Soaps & Such. The course fee is $60 in total for all three class dates.
