From Mitford to Stanford: An Evening with Jan Karon
Join us for a conversation with Jan Karon, #1 New York Times bestselling author of the beloved Mitford series.
Jan has written fifteen novels set in Mitford, along with twelve additional books including Jan Karon’s Mitford Cookbook and Kitchen Reader and several children’s titles. We are honored to welcome her to Stanford for an evening of conversation about storytelling, small towns, and the inspiration behind Mitford.

Angela Correll will interview Jan Karon about the creation of Mitford, how a fictional town can inspire a real town, and Jan’s current work in her hometown of Hudson, North Carolina.

VIP Reception + Conversation | 5:00 – 6:15 p.m. | St. Asaph Room
Begin the evening with an intimate reception with Jan Karon before the main event.
